MUAMP all started with my passion for single ended class A valve amplifiers. I have always had an interest in electronics and valve technology and been making electronic circuits since a small child.

Recently I wanted to build my own valve amplifier, not just any amplifier, definitely not a hybrid, not a class AB or B amplifier but a class A valve amplifier. I also did not want to build from a kit, I wanted to build my own design to my specification, so I started reading up to refresh my memory. The design, build and testing started, many stages taking far longer than I had anticipated. But in the end well worth the time and effort.

There are many people with an interest in valve amplifiers, people who do not know how to build their own or simply do not want to make their own amplifier, but also love the sound these amplifiers produce. This lead me to the conclusion that I can produce 'Class A Tube Amplifiers' for sale to other enthusiasts.
